SUMMARY:Hot Glue Guns + “Garbage” = Sculpture! (3 of 3)
DESCRIPTION:I have an impressive collection of inspiring objects that I’ve refused to throw away over the years. I can’t even tell you how long I’ve been imagining hosting this class for. Every time I looked at these pieces of “trash” I saw art\, and I saw an opportunity to reuse some of our culture’s massive amount of waste\, and I just couldn’t throw them away: so\, now I have boxes and boxes of\, let’s call them found objects\, waiting to become art supplies to help us manifest our creative visions! I can’t wait to see what sculptures we all will create (I encourage parents to create\, as well). \n I have some scissors\, hot glue guns\, and glue sticks\, and different kinds of tape\, to share but\, please\, if you are able\, bring your own art tool kit containing scissors and other cutting devices\, as well a hot glue gun\, and other kinds of adhesives\, such as glue and tape\, that you might like to use to create your sculptures. Ideally you would label things with your name. (And bring lunch.) \nWe will have a short opening circle at 10:30 to help us continue our community building with each other. This will be followed by crafting our sculptures on tables and rugs in and around the garage. We will have lunch at 12:00\, followed by time to free play\, and/or craft more\, before our time together comes to an end.

SUMMARY:Seabreeze Amusement Park Trip
DESCRIPTION:Enjoy a full day of Seabreeze Amusement Park in Rochester in Friday\, June 21\, 10am-5pm. The park boasts 60+ rides for all ages and a water park. We will be renting a pavilion – families can bring lunch and snacks. The park is open 10am-5pm. Our final price will be determined April 12 – each ticket will be $22-$25. \n  \nSeabreeze Rain Day Policy: “If park management determines that a majority of rides have been closed for more than one full hour due to weather\, rain checks will be offered. It must still be raining in order to receive a rain check. You must still be in the park\, and all member in your party must be present to receive rain checks.” \nAll are Welcome: Everyone will enjoy attending! The park is relatively small\, so easy to keep track of kids. The water park does have rides for various ages. \nThere are food concession stands. But please bring snacks\, lunch\, water shoes\, swimsuit\, towel\, sunscreen.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for the monthly NLLC Potluck at Stewart Park’s BBQ Pavilion! \nThere is a playground adjacent and a basketball court just a short jaunt away.   Bring games or outdoor toys to share and enthusiasm for outdoor play. Prepare or pre-order a dish to pass (labeled with ingredients) and your own plates\, flatware\, and water bottle.
