Spacecraft Planetary Image Facility at Cornell

Cool Stuff Related to the Solar System led in coordination with Zoe P.
Activities will include: making or playing with a homemade comet, gravity bottles, moon soil, a map of the solar system, a VR headset with a Mars scene (like standing on Mars), and a magic planet. It will be very tactile and multi-sensory.
SPIF is an active research and public facility that assists students and planetary scientists in their work, provides logistical support to NASA missions, and offers outreach services and Pre-K educational support throughout the Central New York region and beyond.
