Backstage Field Trip to The Cherry Theater’s production of Rosa and Blanca

This field trip will be an invitation to part of a rehearsal for The Cherry theater’s upcoming production of Rosa + Blanca, a modern and grown up reimagining of the Grimm fairy tale Snow White and Red Rose. Followed by a Q+A with the production’s design team and a few of the actors.
The ideal student for this field trip would be someone who is interested in any aspect of the performing arts (directing, acting, set design, lighting design, sound design, costume design, stage management, etc.) The ideal student would also be okay with strong langauge as there is a lot of strong language in the play itself (I can provide details if needed).

Overnight Camping Trip

NLLC is holding Summer Day Camp at Camp Comstock in Ithaca again this summer from August 26th to August 29th. I have organized a two night stay there as well during the same week from Wednesday, Aug. 28th to Friday, Aug. 30th.
The cabins are full but there are lean-tos and tent spots still available for reservation at Windjammer. Windjammer is located at the Southern end of Comstock near Crowbar Point. The sound of the waves lapping the shore will lull you to sleep in a rustic lean-to. Windjammer has 5 lean-tos each sleeping 3-4 people. There is also additional space to set up tents. Windjammer has a pavilion, fire pit, and an outdoor fireplace.

-Cost: Lean-to = $12 each or set up your own tent = $10
-Check in is Wednesday, Aug. 28th at 3 pm
-Check out is Friday, Aug. 30 at 1 pm
Cancelation policy: Cancelations made before June 26th are eligible for a 100% refund. Cancelations made before July 26th are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancelations after July 26th are not eligible for a refund.
