Museum of the Earth Field Trip

There will be a 60-minute experience from 10:00-11:00 led by the museums educator, which will include exploration in the fossil lab, sorting fossils and rocks, interacting with items from the Education Collection, and talking together about on of the museum’s exhibits.
After that there will be 90-minutes to explore the museum on our own, as the museum will be closed to the public, with activity sheets (and a space to have lunch if need be before leaving).
Ideal students have an interest in geology and an ability to focus on the task at hand, suggested ages 7-11.
