Montezuma Wildlife Refuge

May 15 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Come learn about Bald Eagles at the Montezuma Wildlife Refuge. Families will meet at the Visitor Center at 10am and volunteer Jackie Bakker will lead us on a guided hike to learn about the refuge. At 11am we will enjoy a Bald Eagle Presentation then lunch in the visitor center. Afterwards we will depart on a guided refuge tour in our cars while Jackie talks to us via Zoom on our phones. Our tour will end around 2pm. Families are welcome to further explore the area.

All ages are Welcome! There will be a hiking component the first hour, followed by a presentation, which students should be able to sit through. Parents Yes and siblings are encouraged to join .
